Could not be more happy with the boat so far. Finally got my captains license processed about 2 months ago (had medical stuff that the USCG freaked about), and have had a chance to take a number of people out on charters. All have been impressed with the quality of its build and most of all it’s fish-abilty. Something that I was extremely impressed with was how well the boat handles open water and stiff chop. I can safely and comfortably cross Charleston harbor on pretty much any day if need be. The layout has proven to be very people friendly (fits me +3 very easily) with plenty of cockpit space due to the offset console and more than enough room for two anglers on the front deck. Draft is consistently right around 8″ loaded with me and two people: more like 7″ with light load and me plus one person. It definitely gets me everywhere I need on the flats around Charleston. Overall a well built boat and and very appropriately sized guide boat or personal boat for 2-4 people. I’m moving to the keys in a little less than a month, so expect more reports from down south.
