This is nothing new to you, but thought I’d give you my reaction now that I’ve had a chance to try out the Fury at the coast – performance is great in shallow water, as well as in extremely rough water. My son and I encountered 6-8 foot waves in the ship channel last week that were coming from multiple directions, including from several 60 foot yachts that barreled by adding to the mess. Fury handled it all with no problems…didn’t take on any water. Never felt threatened. Your statements about stability and sea worthiness were all proved true. I’ve had many compliments on the Fury. The first time out a police boat went by and I overheard one of the policemen tell the other “That’s a great looking Fury”…they were too busy admiring the boat to notice I didn’t have my numbers or stickers on. Last week my wife and son got “grilled” at the dock while I was getting the trailer. Apparently one of the guys they were talking to had heard about the Fury, but not seen one… he sounded like he may have talked to you about it… he “confirmed” that I have all the right add-ons… and kept telling his friend (apparently a local guide) how he needs to rig his boat up like my Fury is rigged. So there you go, what you already knew: You guys build a great boat!
